same except water on long trips and i keep it at the door. i´ve been looking at closed storage cups but i can only find ashtrays i would really like a fully redesigned center console with proper storage... that 1cm storage is beyond crazy... mercedes is quite nicer in terms of storage convenience in this segment.

Every vehicle (except 24 X1) I’ve had since 1990 has had a eyeglass storage holder near the middle of the headliner near the windshield. My sunglasses ️ will not even fit in the concealed armrest storage area, which is not high enough.
It's not from bmw, that's why we are in the aftermarket thread you have them for the visor or the handle. examples:

He’s asking about aftermarket sunglasses holders.

For example: https://a.aliexpress.com/_Exh68iz

My e90 had a EU part available for the sunglasses holder to replace the grab handle, as well as my '07 GTI, and my '00 GTI. None were apparently sold or available from dealers in the US, but were Genuine parts in other countries. They were basically worthless if you wore anything that didn't fold flat though, or had too thick frames.

These are definitely expensive, in fact more expensive than the one sold by BMW!

I went for the cargo mat made by 3W ($90). A perfect fit and has the ability to fold when opening the bottom storage area. It’s also very thick and sturdy.

The design matches the pattern on the taillights 👀

EDIT: turns out the ICE models have a different design. Now also attached

So , I found this French company that makes csl DRLs for the x1/x2. Trying to figure out how they got the light open.

I’m a big fan of the CSL lights, but these look hideous on the X1

I think we need to become French to appreciate yellow headlights.

I got the Tuxmat because they were the first to have the back seat back covers too. I often load a bunch of pelican cases into my trunk and I dented and scratched the carpet in the trunk and on the back of the seats within the first month I had the car.
I really like them. Everything fits perfectly and I like that it’s all padded.

These are also like $140 for the set.

Hmm for the ICE version that left wing would get in the way of the net on the left side; the right wing would cover the storage compartment on the right side

I think you’re meant to cut these and place them as mats for each side

The light does not get opened. There is a module inside the fenderwell that gets replaced.

On the test drive, I was wowed over by the floating armrest, thinking how neat and futeristic is was, but it's not until you have lived with a car for a few weeks that you realise that what seems like a nice bit of design is actually annoying from a practical point-of-view.
I have been in other cars with the floating center console BUT they had DEEP center arm rest storage consoles.

I tried to order these. After about a month they said it was lost but the shipper, and if they couldn't find them they would reship. 2 weeks later they just refunded my money. They wouldn't tell me who the shipper was and basically ghosted me on any other questions.

You can also do it without using the rear part of the front splitter (that’s how I did it when I had it on my car).
To install the M35i splitter, Which ones are the main advantages or disadvantages when using rear part 51 11 5 A0D B79?

If you had to install the splitter again ? Will you consider rear part this time ?
