What is this limiter in the volume bar?

I noticed this weird limiter on my volume bar that I hadn’t noticed before

Does anyone know what this is?

My guess was that it’s the “speed volume” but I adjusted it to low from high, and the bar still shows this way.

There’s probably a monthly subscription if you want to turn it up loud…

Just a guess - maybe it represents a not hearing safe volume level? Dont have it in my iDrive 8.

It's funny but that pulled up on my screen a couple of weeks ago and didn't know how to take it off lol. I initially thought it was the radio volume control but it wasn't after playing around with it. It finally went away after I turned off the car and turned it back on. Coincidentally around that same time I noticed when I was using my NAV the voice on the NAV was turned up real loud so I'm guessing it's for that.

For me I confirmed that my nav/voice command was already down to its lowest setting. So not sure if that’s what it was, but coincidentally, the bar doesn’t show this anymore either. Perhaps some sort of glitch?

One thing, on occasion the car does struggle to identify which key to identify first and does not log on to my profile automatically. Wondering if it’s perhaps the “restricted driving”
