Interesting qualifying, I was really hoping the Ferraris and AM would do better. Pretty disappointed in both.

Max is well on his way to crushing yet another teammate, it’s getting ridiculous at this point. Little Yuki really got screwed I think, but something tells me Lawson’s leash is a lot shorter than Checo’s and they’ll swap by Monaco if he doesn’t improve fast.

So far, the rookies, I include Law/Bea in that group are all over the place. Kimi didnt really impress given all the hype esp when Rus put it P4 but that doesnt mean he isnt a talented guy as he does seem to be good but I dont think given how competitive his car is, he impressed the way Max did in his first RB start - which wasnt nearly as good of an overall car in the pecking order. Not unfair, although some of that was #ferrarithings….but Albon seems even more peak/trough to me. It’s a great pairing either way.

Around official race start time (3pm Melbourne time - 5am Belgian time), the rain shower front will have virtually left, heading SE direction (from ± 10 o'clock direction to ± 4 o' clock direction).

Track will be very humid at the race start but the race line will progressively dry out. Those who are willing to drive in wet sections outside the race line, should take advantage during the first stages of the race.

Let's wait and see whether a pace car is sent out to check the track conditions around 3pm local time. Normally, you won't need to open your umbrella during the race.

I just heard the FIA is considering a start behind the safety car . At least in a situation with more water on the track.
But that would really s@ck for us ...
It's 4:20 AM over here in Belgium . Ough (!) And this night I already got an overdose of strong coffee to keep my eyes wide open
