GE makes solar panels. I was looking into that for when I buy a home. Right now it looks to be about a $20,000 investment, but if you get plugged into the electric grid, you can get net metering, in which the power company will pay you for the electricity you generate and put back into the grid. I'll have to look into it more, but it seems to be a pretty sweet deal if you're planning on living in the home for more than 20 years.
