Well I just picked up a Canon 300mm f4L and never tried something like this before. Just took a shot each day and adding them via Photoshop. I will try and add another phase tomorrow depending on the weather.

No no. I actually have chased this. Making sure I had the right weather, if not I have driven until I got better coverage and as little light pollution as possible.
I was pretty upset that it was pretty cloudy in the early part of the evening. Was worried I would not make it to the next phase. |

Thanks, its a 300 f4L non-IS USM on a 5D and these are all 100% crops.
Thanks everyone. Looks like a clear morning so touch wood that tonight is the same. Ill have to wait for the phases to start again to capture the first two phases but im happpy to wait. |
