You're telling me no matter how that game went that winning in the 3rd over time doesn't transfer momentum to the pens favor? They have it going into this game, lets see if they can capitalize on it. I dont think the pens will let the wings win the cup on their home ice, I have a feeling this will be a 3-2 Pens win again, similar to game 3.

Momentum is not a factual thing, even if they do carry the momentum through over to Pitts, doesn't mean they can overcome the Redwings. We'll see how both teams play when we get to game 6.

YES.

Where was the "mo" after game 3?

The "mo" isn't the issue. The "legs" are the issue. The Pens are beat up more in Defense. The Wings have outplayed them "mo" or no "mo". SO...it's going to come down to who has the "juice" to finish it.

I am more worried that the Wings will be tired and get down "X" more than I am the PENs having "mo".

BTW.....what you've thought about most of the run to the cup has been "off"....:biggrin::biggrin:

Either way it's been a great series for Hockey.

I agree 0002s, even though I was pissed at the pens for getting walked all over the last game, it was an exciting one to watch. Wish one of the teams I did like though were there, but owell. Oh and I hear the Pens have a great radio announcer, I heard some of the things he says and its so off the wall funny.

I usually am off, Im a jinx I guess. Oh well. Go Sharks '09! Ill be there for the home opener to see our banner raised, it just isnt the banner I wanted. Oh well, we still have a few years to get it done with our current core.

It has, and it was a good series. Congrats, I have obviously underestimated the Wings this year, they were obviously the best team, not only through the playoff run, but throughout the regular season.

Hopefully San Jose can get their shit together and collect the pieces we need, just like the Wings have, to compliment Joe, Patty and Nabby. I hope McLaren is back next year, but from what I am hearing about his knee it seems as though his career is over, too bad, I really liked him and his presence will be sorely missed by us next year.

That last second shot by Hossa nearly gave me a heart attack. Anybody going to the parade tomorrow? Now it'll be interesting to see how things play out over the next couple weeks. According to the Detroit News, Dom is gone and Cheli wants to come back. We'll see how this all plays out for next season. Can you say repeat of '97/'98.

San Jose will be there if they can get an explosive offense to work with the killer defense. They are only a few players away.

Detroit is the Yankees of Hockey.....people hate'm or love'm....not much in between.

Yeah, we are close, we do need to make some personnel moves. I heard a rumor today about us trading Patty to Columbus for the #6 pick. I hope that doesnt happen, we need our veterans, not more youngsters.
