Somebody followed me today
So, i was driving home for lunch, on the 55 south. I was doing probably 85 when i roll up on some hemorrhoid doing probably 60-65 in the fast lane (on a more or less empty freeway), so i blow by him in the #2 lane, get back in the fast lane and go about my business. well a couple mile up the road, i notice this douche back behind me, reving me. so, when the light turns green i go, he follows. This guy is like 3" off my bumper, so i make a bunch of lefts and rights and work my way to local po-po palace. He's still behind me so i know he's following. So i pull into the the police dept, and he peels out and takes off. Like wicked fast. A cop saw this and pulled him over down the road... bitch.
I told my buddy that i work with about it, and he says he's been followed twice, my question is, how often do you get followed? This is the first time that I know of after 15 years of driving. I get ticked if i get cut off, but am over it like 20 seconds later. I'm sure i wasn't the 4 car length recommended distance when i got back in the fast lane. maybe 2. But it was by no means a hard cut off, and he certainly didn't have swerve or stop.... |

I got followed once by an E60 5 series because I got a bit too close to him on a curve( nothing too close, but apparently breaking his comfort zone). He pulled over and let me pass. He high beamed me to hell and continued to follow me. I called Onstar( I was in my Aura) to tell them I was being followed. They directed me to a local gas station. At a stoplight, he pulled up beside me and said, " You know what tailgating is right?" I of course denied it and said I was calling the cops. He said he didn't care and then turned right and peeled right out of there. You wouldn't believe he did all of this with his maybe 6-8 year old son in the front seat........

Some bloated looking truck. I think it was a nissan. I didn't notice i was being followed until he rev'd me. i actually had to stop and think about who it was. I usually don't speed to much in my car. 90 tops on a freeway.
I'm usually good about lane changes even if the idiot is doing well less then the accepted speed limit in a fast lane. If i cut him off doing 100+, then i deserve all that, but i didn't/wasn't. |

What is the speed limit on the highway if you think 90 MPH isn't speeding too much?

When my dad had his F355, people would follow him all over the place, driving reckless and shit. It even got as bad as to people following him all the way to his house. Instead of pulling in the driveway he would drive around the neighborhood until they were gone.
Idiots.

Reminds me a couple of weeks ago I was meeting my friend at a park. So I drove up and down the road of a neighborhood to look for the park. I stopped at the curb and called him and turns out the park was the next street over. So I drive there and I this guy and his son in toyota camry follow me because I guess I parked next to his house. He and his son get out of the car when I get out of the car and his said why did you park at my house? explains he's all suspicious and shit and starts to eye my caar and bounces lol never had that happen before

90 on an open freeway isn't bad. I try to stick to 80ish, but if it's 1 in the morning, and there isn't a car in sight for miles, i have no problem going even faster then that. Traffic usually dictates it. I'm pretty sure the speed limit is 65 in that area.

Some people are just crazy out there man. I had an incident where this dude blocked off the road with his truck (it was a nissan too I believe), got out of the car and wanted to start a fight. I'm not sure if he was drunk or not but it was pretty crazy. I mean it was in the mountains so anything could have happened.

I live in a bad city so when people see me drive by they just think I'm a gang banger or something.
