What's with all the black/black & silver/black E9X cars?
Going through autotrader and leasetrader I can see that nearly everyone out there has built their BMW with black leather interior.
I am curious, why in the world would you want to put such a heat-soaking color in your car? Alaskans need not respond. With all the incredible light interiors BMW offers, I am confounded why so few people have opted for the Jade Gray or Red leather interior and gone with boring, hot black instead. |

Grayscale colors are the most popular on german cars. White/Black/Silver/Gray are 75% of the cars ordered by dealers, hence the large number of the colors on autotrader.

Black is easier to keep clean.
Silver/black was the only car available at the time w/ the options I wanted (mainly a six-speed)

Shut your dirty whore mouth!!!! Black is classy, timeless, easy to live with, easy to touch up if necesary, and not trendy like most colors are. I mean, it remains good looking years later, unlike certain other interior trends...

My lemon and black interior would be perfect but for the fool that decided gray headliner was a good idea.

dealers order safe, sellable colors, hence black, white, silver and grey exteriors with black or beige interiors, and yes black interiors are easier to keep looking clean, especially the floor mats and carpets

The interior of my car is cloth, and smells like a mixture of sprite soda, Starbucks Coffee, and baby poop.
