I used my flashlight for the first time!

its a cute little feature. its more fun then REALLY practical, but its definitely a good idea. and they couldnt have put much there that would take up the same space, so i guess they used the space wisely. but its nice to know there will always be a charged flash light in the car. even if its not THAT bright.

There is also an accessory that you can buy to hook a 12v outlet to where the light plugs in.

Safety note: Don't try and put the flashlight away while driving...worse than talking on a cell phone.

I took that flashlight off and put 12v outlet jack to wire my radar detector.

cool feature!

Pull on it hard, or try to wiggle it out, but don't go too high or low. See, the back of the flashlight is open and what's keeping it in place is really the prongs used to recharge it, so it slides in securely to recharge...

It's not that bright but I've used it at least a few times since I got the car. Very useful.
