Goun to Germany for Oktoberfest, will be in Munich...can I rent a car?

I will be there for a couple days at the end of September. I want to rent something like an M6 or M3, an AMG or the like and take it out to the autobahn. Possibly thinking of renting a car in Berlin and driving it down, but most likely we will be on the train and heading to Prague first.

Anyway, is there a place that does rentals for a couple hours? If so, a price? I just want to experience the power of one of those cars and the autobahn lol. 155 in my 335 was wicked cool, but Id like to see like 170 in a m6, lol.

yes, you can get whatever you want from Sixt, I saw their ad and display vehicles everywhere when I was on my ED.

The hard part is finding a place where you can open it up to get til the limiter kicks in safely.

Right after first light would be best/safest. It allows you to see in front of you & there's not much traffic. Just gotta watch out for the few critters that end up being road kill.

You don't need an international license. I was there in June of this year and rented a car for two weeks with my TX license.

YOU DO need to watch out for cameras. Avis notified me via mail that I have two tickets on the way. For what I don't know, soon to find out.

Have fun driving out there, I know I did.

Sweet thanks guys! Im just wanting to pick something up in Munich and cruise for a couple hours of fun, just to do it. I think we are taking the train from Berlin to Prague then to Munich. If we cut out Prague and just do a Germany thing I will look into a one-way rental. Wanting to get a S63 amg or M6, something fast! lol. Not like the 3 isnt but man I want some REAL power
