Listen, for those who have to had rwd then the S4 or any awd will never fully please, but if you do drive one and happen to enjoy the way it controls itself near the limit then you you could do a lot worse than an S4. |

Until AWD becomes necessary I'll barely consider a car with it.

In FLA I can't imagine you ever needing AWD. Up here in Vancouver where there's lots of rain and the occasional snow it is worth a lot more.
When you go back in east in Canada like Montreal you see a ton of AWD vehicles for good reason.

Always nice to see close competition between different manufacturers. Keeps them on their toes and not complacent.
Too bad Audi exterior styling is still on the bland-er side. But on the flipside nothing's wrong with a sleeper car... not as many out there these days. I think it's now Mercedes Benz's turn to turn up their jets. Their C350 is really overdue for an engine upgrade. |

I agree totally. Competition is great. It'll keep BMW on it's toes. I had heard of a direct injection version of the Merc 3.5 making 300hp but haven't heard anything lately.

2010 335i sedan with Nav, M package with paddle shifter, prem package, cold weather package, active steering, BMW performance suspension, comfort access, logic7, car alarm, ipod adapter will add up a total around 57k. Same thing to the audi S4, Prestige (which includes all features listed on the 335I) + silk nappa leather and audi drive select(includes LSD, dynamic steering, adjustable suspension), comes up a total around 59k. it ends up 2k difference. but audi gets LSD, 19' wheels, adjustable suspension, and quattro. so i think the price is close enough.
