That's hilarious. $100 says it's a joke. Hubby probably wanted a C63 and wifey probably talked him into "being reasonable" and getting a VW. My paps just went through that with his wife. Wanted to buy a Mercedes CLS550 but she 'convinced' him to be wise and he got a Chrysler SRT8 instead He was joking about adding the Mercedes badging to the Chrysler, this guy just actually did it.
Lighten up, no they dont.

Wow this guy acutally did it in NJ where plenty of C63 AMGs are around.
But more sad thing is that he had already fooled many many people around him and WILL continue to fool people out there such as my gf who will totally believe it is Merc C63.... Sad sad sa. |

At first I was like, well I know I'm no car expert, but the second Mercedes looks pretty damn good to me!
I remember seeing that "RR" here a while ago, is that the one with literally just a throne in the backseat? What kind of ego-maniac-kim-jong-ding-dong would buy that?

That's horrible... But then again, I gotta confess. In earlier years, I put a skyline bodykit on my Nissan Maxima. Not the smartest decision on my part, but at least I kept it in the same family. It's not like I was trying to fool anyone into thinking I had a Skyline though; I just wanted a bodykit (which I later F'd up complete and went back to stock).

Though a little classless, I don't see anything wrong with trying to replicate a good product. It's not like manufacturers don't do that already. |

I wonder if water gets in to where he put chicken wire over the old VW badge on the trunk.

Ah, good. Makes me feel a tiny bit better about this disaster. I thought that was a MB wheel.
