Coming from an rx8 mt w/ a lot of work done to it... i miss the hell out of playing w/ the gears...

and now that i started modding the e90, given that it's basically all exterior mods, i'm excited (but in all honesty upset) that i don't have to work on performance so much...and that's b/c i got this new bmw technology... it's a "manual" w/o a clutch!! I think they call it the Auto-Magic option!! Clutchless shifting! wOoo! :rocks:

sorry. i'm studying for macrotheory and i'm bored... and i miss my rx8. sucks!

as great and tossable as the RX-8 is...you gotta be happy about not having to top up on oil every few thousand miles, no longer getting rather dismal gas mileage and no more suffering from questionable resale values.

questionable resale value?!?! I got $14k after 2 years and 29kmiles... that's not questionable... it's manslaughter.

Wow, we were this close to buying an RX-8. Looks like we made the right decision getting our Passat. The power from the car was mininal and then came on like an afterburner. My wife had her heart set on buying it until she drove it.

It's a great car esp. when you first learn to drive (hard) and don't need the power learning the fundamentals of under/oversteer... i had a blast autocrossing the 8, and even w/ minimal power, when you're riding the 4k-8.5k powerband on 90degree turns, it's a wholeee load of fun!!
