The only non-girlie topless cars are cars that were designed from the ground up to be that way.

Examples:
Porsche Boxster/Boxster Spyder
BMW Z4
MBenz SLK
Shelby Cobra
Honda S2000
Toyota MR-S
& Dare I say it: Mazda Miata

Notice all of them are actually "roadsters," not "convertibles."

07' CPO. Asking 55. Meaning they would take 50 shipped I would think. Here in D/FW at Park Place Bentley/Maserati/Porsche/MB. Heck, buy it because it looks like a steal. The AMG CLK vert is a terrible car, honestly. We had a CLK55 vert in the family for a couple years before we all decided it was just terrible at anything other than accelerating and braking; Horrible ride comfort, bad cowl shake, gooey but heavy steering, unimpressive transmission, cheap interior with easily scratchable surfaces and hard, unfomfortable seats (coming from a guy who thinks the seats in the C63 are perfectly comfortable).

Lol, I have friends that people think pay for their own stuff but they really don't. You cant really vouch for the OP unless you live with him or have been his good friend for 10+ years.

I remember he said he made lots of money with stocks and investing but it's kinda hard to believe someone at his age is doing that well without a huge boost from his parents. Either way, good for him.

Thats my point. You want rigidity, balance lightness why would you get a convertible for? If I had a CLK DTM trust me I would rip the crap out of it. I like the E90 M3 E92 M3 but I hate the E93 even if it comes with a retractable top. Why would I buy a convertible Shelby?
If I ever get a convertible I would drive a slow convertible like an MG,Miata or something like that and enjoy the scenery.

I'm just adding onto what Jaykay and mcmuffin said. It's just annoying if someone says they buy the car when their parents do, why do they feel the need to lie. And i'm not saying the OP isn't paying for the car, i'm just talking about this type of situation in general.
