ebay is bullshit. used to be good, now its utter trash. amazon marketplace isnt too much better, but one thing they do offer is a huge ass audience. i stick with craigslist. its free and it usually goes quick too.

Yes, Craiglist FTW! I just love fielding emails, text and phone calls from everyone interested in what I'm selling and then figuring out where we can meet up to show it to them then accepting their money, assuming they still want it after we've met up. Now, if I only had the time to do that for hundreds of people! I love limiting the potential buyer list to locals too. Great business model!

the did this because everyone was scamming them by starting an auction at 1 buck and then charging 400 bucks for shipping.. however there fees are high on small items + when you use paypal they nab you again

this might be done to stop the practice of setting a very low sell now price only to turn around and hit people with high shipping costs. This is one of the tricks you find on how to sell on Ebay, They tell people to set low prices to attract buys and most buys do not notice the shipping cost or do not fact into the buying decision and you can make up what you do not make in the auction in the shipping costs.
I do not buy much from Ebay anymore because all the games seller play to stick to the buyer. |

eBay can go to hell. It sucks as a seller, you are losing at least 15% of the value of the item when you factor eBay and Paypal fees.
Craigslist ftw .. free and cash buyers
