thats great man, you should come, i went to napa last weekend but just for dinner, its picking up, lots of brits as usual and russians as well. i have a friend that works at the waterpark sais that most of the tourists are russians..

its been going down sinse 2004.. i remember during 2001-2004 the place was packed, there was no room to walk on the main square..
when business owners saw that they increased their prices wayyy up.. and we lost all the young people that wanted a cheap place to party, drink go clubbing.. we used to top ibiza.. hopefully it will pick up again, but economy is not helping..

I miss those days.. Cyprus is now super expensive

hopefully it will pick up but i dont think it will ever reach those levels again.. they are now after rich tourists!! dont want kids that only spent on drinks.. this is the main problem in cyprus, we dont think ahead, its all about the easy money..

the thing to invest in cyprus now is real estate. if you have money buy a house, the prices have gone a bit lower now than in previous years due to the crisis and you can find good opportunities..

charlies for british and billys for americans its because the name charles and bill appears a lot in each country.
also the terms "charlies" and "billys" apply to britishcypriots who speak greek with an accent many cypriots went to england for work and many after the war so we have a lot of britishcypriots. they are all described as charlies
