You ever try MetRx? I think that's how it's spelled. I've been drinking it since my dad offered it to me when I was like 6 lol. The ordinary vanilla tastes best imo. Just chuck a banana or two, some splenda (or whatev you guys use), and all that other stuff, and you're good to go.
btw, don't know if it really makes a difference, but right now I drink 2% milk. Would dropping to skim make a big difference? I drink quite a bit of milk.

No I have not tried the MET-RX protein but I've heard good things about it here and there. I'm just a proponent of Optimum Nutrition protein....it tastes like a chocolate smoothie and it's good as far as the nutritional value is concerned. |

haha... you guys are funny
Im not gonna go back and quote everyone but im not a cardio bunny!!! I do cardio- normally HIIT because id like to keep my heart healthy and maybe just maybe i can run a mile or two without feeling like im going to die. I lift five days a week as well. My problem is cleaning up the diet. Healthy food sucks and i just dont have the time to prepare. Eating five or six small meals a day is a major annoyance. I forgot the brand but so far, the best tasting shake [acquired i guess] is a vanilla ice cream flavor with skim plus and a tablesoon of liquid joint fuel... the J/F is similiar to molasses [nasty if you try to take it alone- try me ive made that mistake] but it sweetens up the blandness of the shake. Oh and when i got a tub of NO xplode... a few samples came with it and their chocolate protein shake was awesome, even with water!

I love Muscle Milk. You throw in a banana and some ice and you're good to go. I was on that stuff about a year and a half ago and I grew like a mofo but didn't lose any weight. I know it had to be the shakes b/c I watched what I ate and i know my intake was less than amount burned. Anyway, I use the vanilla muscle milk lite and it's awesome...it's a good balance, sometimes i just have it for breakfast!

I run about 30-35 miles per week and lift weights 3 times per week. Right now the gym is super annoying because all the new year resolution people are there. I'm giving that a month or so.

Guys, don't forget to do pull ups. This is very vital for really maximizing upper body strength.
A lot of people can bench an ass-load. They try to do pull ups and really struggle with just a few. Ducatti, clear out your pm box. |

so far so good. I've been running those distances for over 5 years, typically about 5-6 miles per day with one rest day per week. No problems yet, knock on wood!
