I love Chopin. I'm actually a classically trained pianist and Chopin was my 3rd favorite to play after Rachmaninoff and Beethoven. Chopin's "Raindrop" Prelude is absolutely beautiful

Really! I was just listening to that! I've been playing myself, too, for 13 years (stopped taking lessons a few years ago, full time job took care of that quickly). But I do love Chopin as well as Burgmueller, and some of the other Baroque period composers. Romantic and 20th century are my favorites though.
I also love the sadness of the Nocturne in G minor.

I've played Nocturne in G minor as well...I wonder if our instructors are on to something...
You realize Chopin is romantic not baroque (just checking) Rachmaninoff's preludes are IMO the funnest, check out #5 (C minor iirc) and I wanna say E# minor, it wasn't part of his "10 preludes" and I can't remember the opus exactly but if I had to guess I'd say 127...I'll double check the sheet music tomorrow |

No I know! He is one of my faves
I need to go visit my instructor and find that out lol. I still would also like to learn a real fugue one day. But I'll search youtube/download them too, if I remember. Or you can post here if you like

I've played a Bach "roundabout" fugue in F minor I wanna say, was so long ago I could be wrong. Coming from someone who played exclusively late classical (late Mozart, Beethoven) and on it was VERY difficult to learn, and even after I did, I thought it was stupid. I respect the baroque period, but don't really like it. Just like I respect Elvis, but don't listen to him
Edit: fugue for piano, not organ. Organs are fucking crazy |

Man Organ is like Mandarin Chinese. Who needs to play a separate set of keys with their feet anyway?

Haha not right this second. But I have the fire brick here, just need to find someone who can make and fire a liner for me. Shouldn't be too difficult, I think it could be made on a big pottery wheel.

Lol, well here is what I need: I think that sort of thing could be made on a pottery wheel. Idk, I fucking hated art class
