Didn't get to see the game (comes on at like 0430 in the morning here) but sounds like it wasn't worth it from a Bulls fan perspective. Time for the finals....to the Heat fans I hope you don't win it...not because I hate the Heat...I just don't like Lebron, yeah I said it. Still love D. Wade though....

It's a regular season award...though there was an interesting debate on the meaning of the award on local radio during the end of the regular season - basically about 2 ways to look at it. Most valuable player overall or most valuable player to their respective team. Most valuable player overall, would be the best player in the league, that would be Lebron. However, the most valuable to their team, this year was def Rose, just like Lebron was when he won it with Cleveland.

In the end, it was a great year for the Bulls, they outplayed everyone's expectations, and have a bright future. This year in development and playoff experience for Rose will prove very valuable - the Bulls have a 22yr old star who wants nothing more to get better, be more competitive, and win more.

I hope the Heat win, aside from the obvious talent, they've shown they're a much more cohesive team than I think a lot of people thought, and I prefer their tough defensive style to Dallas' brand of basketball...

My gut feeling is Dallas' bench depth will be key to their VICTORY.

That's what all the "experts" were saying about Chicago too (and Chicago's D is far better than Dallas' D).
