2. Partially agree. Definitely R. Kelly. But, gotta go with 12 Play. Seriously, the whole album. And, if you're old enough, a close second was Shai, If I ever fall in love, a capella version. Last place: anything from Ne-Yo 3. I'm passing on this one 4. Confused about the legitimacy of this as a question as well. 5. Real talk, James Brown is the correct answer. Fetty Wap is not. 6. All time is probably Richard Prior but I loved me some Rudy Ray Moore and Redd Foxx 7. This is the correct answer (including the ranking) but don't sleep on Hollywood Shuffle. Last place: anything from Tyler Perry |

Hey dude, no offense taken, at least over here. That's great input given your circumstantial evidence and experience. To be quite blunt, stereotypes exist for a reason. They are given fuel by the people who personify them daily. This is not going to change. Do I break the stereotype of black people? A lot of the time, yes. Sometimes, no. Do I take offense to racial remarks when they are underscored with negative connotations? Of course I do. However, the fact of the matter is that our ethnicities have dug a grave of preconceived notions and it is up to us as individuals to set the tone for local change with regard to our operating circles. I am sick and tired of the bitching and complaining about my race from people of other races like we are supposed to be some kind of fucking pity group, or something. We are not entitled, we are not scorned. Anyway, I'll go back to my humorous responses. Just had to get that shit off of my chest.

I actually marched with my Godfather in Charleston, South Carolina when I was a lot younger, a silent march to protest the flag. It was a jarring, disturbing, horrifying experience.
About 20 minutes into the March, the Confederate supporters started showing up on the sides of the road in front of the shops that lined both sides of the street. The streets were blocked off for the day, for the purposes of our protest. They threw things, shouted atrocities, had signs bashing the NAACP, and jeered at us. However, no one in our group stirred. We continued to walk, as enabling these people with a response would further paint a picture of destruction and ignorance that has been consistently associated with my race. When we reached the flag location, we all stood silently for about 20-30 more minutes, surrounded by people of all colors who continued to scream and threaten and insult. Never in my life had I seen first hand in the 21st century the true hatred that seeps through the cracks of this nation, and the fact that a simple ideology could have such an impact on the beliefs and outlook of others. I understand that it represents a point in time, but no, I am not in favor of it.

My best friend has watched the series over and over, I unfortunately haven't had the pleasure of doing so. I plan on marathon-ing it this summer, I'm a big fan of Englishman who don hood accents (Idris Elba).

2. Luther Vandross/Teddy Pendergrass 3. Probably, never spent much time in the ghetto and I was fortunate enough to have my dad around. Still do. 4. It is a naturally pleasing aspect of the female anatomy to view and grasp. It also feels great and provides ample cushion when being ridden on top during intercourse, or doggy-style. 5. She probably has good credit herself, and is seeking stability as opposed to what she normally attracts. 6. Godfrey. 7. Dolemite.

I actually received quite a few infractions over the years for using that term, dunno if the mods have lightened up or not over time but you are really reputable and I like you. Mods, please don't ban swagon. Also, I actually rarely use the word. It feels weird saying it. I used to rap actually, and I used it frequently back then. Just felt right, I guess. It's also very easy to rhyme lots of words with, nonsensically.

British show called... something... LUTHER - that's it. Idris Elba in full British hood-speak. I suspect his real accent is a bit more posh than the character. He is a great actor.
