Agreed. 2 poles and 9 wins in a top 3 car isn't getting the job done. He has yet to drive a car as bad as the MP4-24.

When he gets straight-up wins at that point, I'll be more impressed. I was very impressed with his win this season. It was VERs 1st championship level drive and win. Now lets see if he can string enough of them together over a season to win a WDC, then 8 or 9 more.

F1 GOATs? Probably Fangio, Clark, Senna, Schumacher and Hamilton (I personally also highly rate Prost)

Post Lewis era, Max and Charles will likely dominate F1 for years and MAYBE they will ever be acknowledged as a GOAT.

But right now, Lewis is in a league of his own. Actually he is since his debut season.

HAM started his career as a Senna-clone and currently races as Prost-clone until he has to pass other cars. Then it's Senna-clone all over again. He hunted BOT down and forced him into a mistake. Just like he's done with many other drivers in the field.

To be fair...Horner is a bit of a two faced hypocritical douche so you can't always take what he says at face value.

I wonder if words were said to Verstappen post race asking why he posted fastest race lap on old tyres at the end of the race (for a point) rather than up his pace during the race where it might have made a difference.

Anyway...this mesmerising qualifying lap by Hamilton at Singapore 2018 where it seemed like the Merc was only the third fastest car is just sublime. And sets him apart from everyone else.

wasnt like an usual talk mate we hear everyday.. since Red Bull had confliction with Renault recently sounded a risky joke to make cause he s leading a team and his words are more important than most of the team members.. and since Horner knows everybody can hear it.. its interesting thats all..

There isn't a driver in F1 who wouldn't swap places with Hamilton and drive for Mercedes for £nothing.
So why do Mercedes pay Hamilton a fortune when they could have Verstappen or any other driver in F1 for £10s of millions a year less.
