With that said, yes, I can go the route you're talking about and I know how to do it but for me that's just too much work lol. I did that with an Infiniti I used to have many years ago but since I've owned BMWs the last few yrs frankly I've never had problems getting aftermarket wheels for them until now. All good though. Appreciate your advice! Thanks!
What I mean is that there isn't a wheel that's going to be designed specifically for the majority of cars out there, most manufacturers have tooling that will be within an intended range of sizes and offsets for a given wheel design. All they do is drill the bolt holes after it's cast/forged. There's no need to make an X1/X2 specific wheel as the offset range and bolt patterns are pretty common, especially with the more popular premium brands like Rays, BBS, Enkei, etc. Audi, VW, and a few other makes all have the same 5x112 bolt pattern, the BMW hub measurement for the X1 are 66.6. If anything, the wheel manufacturer just doesn't list a specific category for the X1/X2 because it's not as popular as say an M2 or 3 series, but they have them in their inventory.

A quick search reveals you can do a 19x9 here, and even provides offsets:

You gave a link that's based outside the US. Can you do a "quick search" for US manufacturers/vendors/distributors? That was my original question. I agree with a lot of what you're saying but there's a reason why I can't seem to find any company out there (in the US) selling wheels wider than 8.5" that fits our car. Manufacturers mass produce wheels and some will even customize to your car for a premium cost. And I know the X1/X2 bolt pattern and hub measurements are common sizes but maybe it's the offset for this car. For example I called Vossen directly and they didn't have any wheels 8.5" or wider that would fit our car. If "they had it in their inventory" like you said, it would still show up in their system. Same goes for other distributors I called. When you give them your car year, make and model all they do is punch it in their system and their database will match and spit out all available wheels (different sizes) based on the car OEM wheel specs.
Anyway I'm done going back and forth. If you can find me a US based manufacturer/distributor then great! If not, I won't be surprised. I don't think it's a coincidence that I can't find even ONE company that has wheel width I'm looking for. FYI I'm not desperate and I'm also not paying EXTRA for customized wheels.

That link I provided was just to show you what offset is recommended for that size. If you’re looking for just a click and add to cart checkout, no, I can’t help you. I’m just saying it’s easy enough to find what you want and order it. Looking through the Vossen website I see multiple options for the wheels that would fit the X1. The manufacturers are not going to tell you it fits if they haven’t test fitted the wheels on the car you’re asking about because they have never actually had the car in their possession to take measurements and guarantee fitment( again, because the demand is not strong enough for them to spend the money to do so).

I tried offering help to you and point you to resources that would help you select wheels, because there are plenty out there that will fit. You can literally take 5 minutes to look under your car and see how much clearance you have in the wheel well and do your own calculations on offset. My only other suggestion to you is take it to a local tuner and have them do the legwork for you and order it from them. Or don’t.

I’m done helping.

Thanks but no thanks. I guess we can both agree the demand is not strong enough for these manufacturers to spend the money to test fit wheels for this car along with marketing them hence why I can't find anything online. And yes there's probably a ton of wheels out there that would "fit" this car. Would it protrude and how would it look is a different story. I've been spoiled with my past BMWs in a sense that I've never had any issues looking for aftermarket wheels because there's always been a big market for them. Frankly, I prefer to keep it that way rather than going your route. For me, I need visual - the wheels on the car, period. I'd like to have choices along with pictures and if I see something I like then I'll get the details. It's unrealistic at this point as I'm learning. Hopefully one day soon while I still have this car. Appreciate all your input though. Peace.

There is another thread on here where the owner went with 21" wheels, and I personally think they look amazing.

I’ve had mine on since March, and the finish is holding up as well, if not better than the original gloss black parts of the car.
Having said that, I only hand wash my car.

You bet! And I think it will too! Just waiting on one exhaust actuator valve delete module and a couple more 90 degree mandrel elbows that are all due to come in on Tuesday. Going to call tomorrow and try to get scheduled for Thursday afternoon or Friday morning.

I also bought a rear spoiler from them to complete the look.

Really happy with the quality and look.

I love the look of this! You mind sharing the link to buy the rear spoiler?

Individual pieces purchased that were taken to the exhaust shop for welding:
Flowmaster 40 Series Delta Flow muffler
2x Y-splitters
3x 90 degree mandrel bent elbows
1x 45 degree

The driver's side stock electronic valve was left in place to bypass the muffler while in Sport mode.

Thanks, it couldn't have turned out more perfect.

Michelin CrossClimate 2's. Strict snow tires for the Denver winter. They happen to have phenomenal dry traction and handling as well. And they look pretty sick.

I was wondering if anybody has sourced a plug and play led grill for a U11 M35 (with M emblem) in US or Europe?

My Wife would like such grill on her car.

I did find this seller but wont ship outside Singapore

It’s from Maxton Design. Visit their website and search for X1 U11. You’ll have all their parts there
