I knew the heat were going to win its just the way NBA business is set up. At least I won $4500 off a bet. Congrats cHeat you just flopped into the finals. Whole team was flopping, anyone see Paul George call chalmers a flopper during the game lmao. My bets on the spurs in 6.

Neither, unless you're an idiot.
I was just commenting on the fact that Heat fans somehow believe they "crushed" the Pacers, even though the series went to a game 7. If you ask me, the Spurs crushed the Grizzlies. Don't get me wrong, the Heat are a great team, but so were the Pacers.

Lebrick, Lechoke, Leflop, Lefail did have to carry the whole team the entire series where Bosh and Wade were non existent. |

It's incredible how biased you can be while rooting against a team. You guys honestly think the pacers are better than the heat? I say they ended exactly where they shoulf of, the 3rd best team in the league. They played great basketball but the turnovers and lack of offensive superstar lost them the series.

I don't think the Pacers are better than the Heat overall, as we just saw. But, the Heat barely won the series, so I do think that the Pacers are a good team as well. On any given day, the Pacers have shown they can beat the Heat multiple times. Think of it this way, had the ball bounced a little differently (assuming everything else remained the same, which it probably wouldn't have), the Pacers would've won game 1 in Miami, and we wouldn't be having this conversation.
If the "Big 3" were firing on all cylinders in all games, they probably would've won 4-0. But, since they never are playing up to their potential, for all games in a series, there is always a large chance that they can lose a series by a statistically inferior team. Personally, I like rooting for the underdog here, since I dislike the Heat, and I'm indifferent about LeBron now. Good luck in the Finals...

well yeah Miami always gets calls and has "dirty" fouls and flops but seriously, it all comes down to. Are the Pacers a better team then the Heat...as many of you mentioned above.
Obviously, the answer is No. So yes, the Heat do deserve to be in the finals, flop or not. Btw, many of you Pacer fans are forgetting this team is capable of scoring 10pts in a quarter...going on these crazy offensive droughts. How you suppose to win a ring with that?

Let's be honest. The western conference this year was a joke. I really doubt the Spurs would even be here today if Westbrook wasn't out. Let's not count out the injury Nuggets suffered with Gallinari, GSW with David Lee, Lakers with Kobe, Clippers with Griffin. The only 2 healthy team actually made it to the conference final, Spurs and Grizzlies. The Spurs hasn't even been tested this post season. They only played the 5th, 6th, 7th seed and 2 of them had their best player injured! Even with a injured David Lee, the quickness of the Warriors were giving the Spurs trouble. Pacers and the Spurs are very different team. But the only way to beat the Heat is with defense. Pacers has one of the best defensive back court and front court, which is why they are the best defensive team in the league. Duncan and Splitter just don't have the physical and athleticism compared to Roy Hibbert in the paint defensively and offensively. Bosh can guard Duncan/Splitter much easier than Hibbert since Duncan and Splitter isn't much of a post up player. Plus, Splitter is not a David West. They don't need to guard him like he is a offensive threat, which allows UD or Bosh to help on Duncan or the paint. The only real problem is Tony Parker. Norris Cole has the quickness to guard Parker but there is no way they can stop him. My guess is Wade and Lebron will take turn guarding Parker. Lebron already said he will guard Parker at some moments of the game most probably in the 4th quarter. If Miami shut down Parker then it is game over for the Spurs. So far the matchups favor Miami. Better starting roster, deeper bench, home court advantage, been tested and pushed out of their comfort zone by Indiana. Obviously, this is just my opinion as a basketball fan. |

Quoting myself now so none of you can say I didn't call it before everything started.
SPURS, with their fundamentally sound plays, superior defense, outstanding coaching staff, will break down and pick apart the Miami Heat. Timmy Duncan will announce his retirement after finally achieving his fifth ring with the San Antonio Spurs. Tony Parker has vowed to carry Duncan back to the finals and give him the final farewell he deserves. Coach POP will most likely also announce his retirement with Timmy D and end the Spurs dynasty with a bang. I can't really say how many games it will take for the Spurs to win, but they WILL win. Lebron is the greatest player on the court today BUT he can't do it alone. Spurs starters and bench > Heat roaster. I can go on and on but this will be the story line, mark my words.
