Virtually every autoloading pistol would be illegal overnight in VA.
The only pistols I can think of that might fly are certain kahrs, small Sig's, Smith Wesson shield and Walther pps. With VA totally blue including the county where I reside this will likely pass. For those of you outside of VA I'm sure there will be a fire sale of used firearms on GunBroker. They're already cheap as is relatively speaking. Can a hk45c or usp45c take the bigger magazines of the normal usp? Does anyone have a Smith Wesson mp45 subcompact 2.0? Are the full size magazines compatible with the smaller 45s that hold 8? I've seen 1911 mags over 10 rounds for .45 but not 9mm. Does anyone make a 9mm 1911 magazine over 10? I'm trying to plan for the worst. Thanks. |

Enjoy your rights while you can. I imagine this virus of "gun control" will eventually sweep the USA.
The gun owners in VA couldn't even come out and vote. They sat on their asses taking their rights for granted. Many I spoke to didn't even know there was an election and think a democrat VA could never F with their gun rights. Hopefully they'll learn their lesson and actually vote from now on. But then we have the issue of the Democrats trying to redraw districts in their favor. I'm trying to leave the state but it isn't easy with kids. |

Honestly, in the country as a whole, gun laws have become less and less restrictive. Only a few states are not "shall issue" |

It seems even Texas has some anti gun politicians in office. Laws seem to always be tightening rather than loosening. |

Depends on what you want the next one for..
1911 is a classic.. everyone should have one eventually. I'm eyeing the Sig five seven 9mm.. shot one at a event and it was really solid. The tungsten polymer mix really made the frame rock solid. Conceal firearms i like my M&P9C the most, but Shield is decent but starting to carry the Sig P365 on place of the Shield due to the bullet capacity. Got a Hudson H9.. kind of cool but because they went out of business it could be risky of getting a lemon. Mine shoots fine but haven't shot enough to determine the reliability. HK make some solid guns too but can get pricey. I like the VP9 but rarely take it out. CZ SP-01 are pretty nice too. Man this list can go on... |

I have a Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III cal. Limited edition. Used approx twice a month on clays and several times a year on driven shoots. Used also on local farmland (with permission to shoot vermin such as pigeon/crows etc).
Gun licence much rarer in the UK. |

This.
Make it a government 5", steel, .45 acp But it'll be a sickness. Them you'll want a 9mm lw commander, a 9mm government, yada yada. Cheapest id buy is a Colt. Spend more and buy a Dan Wesson. I'll second HK. .45 and .40 hks are a steal right now on gun broker. Cz75. Beretta 92. List goes on. G19 of course. Last edited by Golddots; 11-26-2019 at 08:06 PM.. |

My last suppressor on a form 4 trust was 13 months. Just bought three more. Going to do individual on two of them and trust on the third and time them all.

I don't have one, yet. My wife says no more guns or other toys for a while as I've been spending a bit too much. To be fair I did buy her a few guns. I have shot a Browning Hi Power and I really enjoyed it. Found it to be quite accurate and easy to fire. I'd like one, but also I'd have a 1911 as well. Soooo many guns, so little time.

I do love looking at the Hi-Power, and it feels good in the hand, but side by side, 1911 every time. |
