But the significance of Thursday night's little show went beyond putting a few noses out of joint. It showed how lacking Miami is in the discipline that separates confidence from conceit, and -- perhaps -- contenders from champions.

I would say the Heat got the worst of it in Game 3 for sure, but no doubt the refs really do not know what they hell they are doing. In one play in the 4th Quarter, James seemingly loses control of the ball on a spin move, after bobbling it, regains control, now if there was no tip from a defensive player, that should have been whistled a travel or double dribble or passing to yourself, or something....but it wasn't called, then, he takes a dribble and is called for traveling...but if the ball was tipped, which it seemingly was since there was no call made otherwise, he would have had a legal chance to dribble again.... pick a call and stick with it!! Basically James was screwed no matter what... |

they are who we thought they were...much respect mavs, but you gotta tip your hat to the heat, more talent and have the best closers. hard to overcome that in the finals and its showing- ie how they are always playing catch up.as much as id like the mavs to pull it out, i just dont see it happening

This place is dead when the Heat wins.
Anyways, I really don't think the Mavs can beat the Heat in a 7 game series. We've seen it from Game 1-3 that the Heat is obviously the better team. The Mavs are always coming from behind to "try" to steal the game. They were never really on top of the Heat. I totally agree with Magic Johnson that the Mavs probably played the best they could in Game 3 and it still wasn't enough to beat the Heat. |
