NOOOOOOO!!!
We don't want them to just built more M2s. We just need them to built the M2s that are part of the allocation lists for right now. Once that's done, then they should start building the M2 CS/GT or whatever they want to call it. Then start building the M2GC. What else am I forgetting? Then and only then thay should start building more M2s

(Manufacturer, May 2016 sales, %change, 2016 YTD sales, YTD %change)
Audi 18,728, 1.6%, 78,489, 4.2% BMW 29,017, -6.4%, 124,581, -8.7% Mercedes 32,147, -0.6%, 146,981, -0.7% Lexus 26,682, -10.1%, 125,785, -5.2% Cadillac 12,099, -16.0%, 58,968, -12.5% Once again Audi has an increase in sales and it appears that Mercedes Benz will probably take luxury sales crown this year. Mercedes just keeps increasing their lead. 22k vehicles wow. BMW miscalculated something because to not have a direct CLA competitor is a huge oversight. The CLA has moved 30,000 vehicles YTD, that's 30,000 vehicles BMW missed out on, probably more if you consider the Audi A3. This more than anything is a huge reason why they're behind Mercedes as much as they are.
If you think iDrive is bad, then the competition is even worse. Personally, iDrive (NBT) > Audi MMI & Mercedes COMAND and it's not even close. BMW iDrive is arguably the best infotainment system in the industry so I doubt BMW is worried about that aspect of their cars. Last edited by TheBingoBalls; 06-01-2016 at 05:53 PM.. |

I am sure it won't be long till BMW offer a similar FWD model to the CLS and Audi A3 Sedan in North America.

Guys BMW has a plan to help out with these numbers...how you ask? Reducing the maintenance plan from 4yr/50k miles to 3yr/36k miles with less things covered in that plan. Idk which clown thought that'll be a good idea.

Really? That's so weak. How come my BMW stock is tanking, quarter after quarter?

Wow.. the 3/4 series has been a flop. Not even half-way through its life cycle and the brand's largest segment is tanking.
With the Audi S4, Benz C43, and Jaguar SE set to arrive shortly, sales of the 3 series will be obliterated. The 4 series will continue to tank with the arrival of the Audi A5 and the new C coupe. Locally, I see some ridiculously low priced F30 335i m-sport listed for weeks without any buyers. Last edited by samchoi604; 06-01-2016 at 08:29 PM.. |

Edit: I didn't read everyone's posts in this thread but it's clear that my statement is being observed by everyone already. BMW had a loyalty incentive last month but it was only good from the 13th till the 31st. Also, loyalty means that you have to either be in a current BMW financial lease or finance or within 12 months of having completed one. BMW also needs to come out with a conquest program, which essentially gives an incentive to a customer if they are driving a competitor brand like MB, Audi, Lexus, Maserati, Porsche, etc. Lastly, one of the biggest things I hate is that BMW does not have a true pull-ahead payment waiver program. Benz does (called Loyalty Accelerator Program) where if you have a few payments left, it will be waived provided you get another Benz. No questions asked. With BMW, their pull ahead waiver program means the dealer has to buy the car back from the customer in order to "waive" the payments. So any car that has had an accident, has high mileage or damage on the car, the value tanks and the dealers won't buy the car back. Program is a bust. Final note - BMW reducing their maintenance program down to 3 years / 36,000 miles is a joke. The one item that BMW truly offers for free to their customers is that other brands do not is being skimped on in an effort to maximize dollars for the manufacturer. |

This thread makes me LOL.
Y'all either complain that BMW makes too many models to sell and adhere to "too many people" Or Y'all complain that BMW doesn't sell enough.

Every month their sales reports come out and good or bad, more than not $hit all over bmw. So why do some/all of you continue buying them? Lots of (apparent) Benz lovers here, so bail already. Get your Benz. If bmw is doing such a piss poor job, vote with your wallets and pick up a Lexus Benz or Audi.

Most enthusiasts here would take slightly lower sales numbers, in exchange for more back-to-basics driver's car options. |
