Search does not mean buy.

VW is simply not that desirable, however people still buy them because they are (partially) cheaper than BMW, Merc, Audi.

It mostly goes like this:
Search BMW:"Nice cars, lets see how much..."
Click through options list: "Damn, I can buy 3 VWs for that, need to go to the dealer tomorrow..."

Especially in europe where most parts are not standard in a BMW compared to the US (yes, we have lightbulbs, 3 cyinders, no gps and cloth standard).

I'm from Zimbabwe. Surprised to see BMW, I would have put Mercedes ahead followed by Toyota with its Hilux's and Landcruiser's. Then BMW.
