Cars aren't meant to keep up with bikes, period. Unless he had a Hoffy or a Scwhinn.

barring the possibility that it was powered by briggs and stratton, i would have to quote Ron White and say, "apparently, this guy had a LOT to live for." regardless, it's still not a bimmer...

Sorry op even most Harleys will leave 328s for dead. But since he chickened out you won! But try to keep the racing on the track. We will all ride safer....

my buddie had a 2005 gto with a sts turbo setup - the car made 500 rear wheel HP and 550 ft-lbs at the tire on 8psi... thats the only car i've ever driven that gives bikes a run for the money - it even beat up on a few 600's

i've been riding a lot of years, and i'm no angel on the road, but i have never gotten my bike up to the 175mph range... that's just idiotic on city streets... then again, i live in los angeles, kinda hard to get empty road like that around these parts... |

If you know how to race tuck, the wind resistance really isn't that bad...you can even gain a couple mph top speed just by lifting your butt out of the seat a couple inches and bettering the aerodynamics. Also, I ride in full race leathers, not a hoodie and jeans, so the fit is tight and that cuts WAY down on wind resistance. So, tuck away your BS flag. Also, top speed runs are saved for the autobahn on Sundays when traffic is low...I would never run near that hot on a street with traffic. |
