Admittedly, I'd like Sweden to win against Germany. Not because I particularly care about either, but Germany is currently ahead of Canada in the standings, whereas I see no threat from the Swedes. So I'd like to get a few medals ahead of Germany...that would be nice.

Hell yeah I'm in but I've tried to come up with things to hate about Canadians for years now, and all I've found is that in one providence they store milk in plastic bags. For this cause, I'm willing add Finland to Sweden too even if your language is stupid and your flag is horribly bright. Anything for hockey glory.

I'm avoiding buying a house, and in the middle of the most ridiculous stand off of my life and as seen in the last few days, I'm very willing to waste time on anything!

I'm just trying to stir up a little Nordic strife. But you are both taking it far too well and I can see I'm not going to be successful.

A combined team would be interesting. Honestly though - the fact that Finland only lost by 1 to Canada is not bad at all. Imagine if you took the top from both teams...that would be pretty interesting.

I think the Woman's gold medal game tonight should be very entertaining. The revelry between those two teams is even better then the mens IMO.

I'm actually liking the fact NHL players arnt in the olympics this year. It makes the picks more unique and it seems like the players are happier to be there.

I meant going after you here, not on the ice. Although a combined Swedish-Finnish hockey team would be pretty interesting. Especially if it had been done like 10-15 years ago when both countries had arguably their best teams ever player for player.

You clearly didn't watch the game. Canada wasn't even trying, my team went back to the good ole strategy of absolutely never managing to make a pass, they had absolutely no chance near the goal, our defenders looked like wooden blocks, offence was shit, all went to hell and Scandinavia has to now root for Germany.

This day could only be worse if I was in a ridiculous prolonged standoff about buying a house, AND I had forgotten that today is our wedding anniversary and now the extorting fucker I for some reason long forgotten married is demanding to know if I know how long we've been married. I don't. I have no clue. As far as I remembered, we were married in autumn or so, and this could very well be his strategy to get me to buy a house out of guilt.

That's my life! No wonder I've spent the last month avoiding the topic of homes or attempting to end up in idiotic fights about details that would result in to a stalling project.

I'm going to be murdered in my sleep and I will deserve it.

I have to say I felt horrible for the french figure skater that had the wardrobe malfunction. When watching it live the close up at the end put it right into focus.

That said its a reminder about how prudish our whole world is over something as trivial as a nipple. I imagine all the female figure skaters nude anyway when I watch so its really not that big of a deal to me.

It's true - I didn't watch it. I honestly have no idea if Canada played well or not, only that we won by only one goal. The only goal, but still, only one. For all I know, we were completely incompetent on the ice too.

As to your anniversary, you at least can ballpark it based on the kids ages, depending on whether they came after or before marriage. Or you could go with the tactic of Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD, without the atomic) and ask him if he remembers your first date. You could totally bluff here, because chances are, he won't remember and you can make up anything you want.

I'm getting nasty glares from a man and I have to pretend both that I'm busy, and that I know he is full of shit (which I don't know, I even texted my mom to ask when I got married but she didn't get back to me yet!) and its so cold here I cant even go out walk the dog for the rest of the evening!

I know I made fun of your blender anniversary gift but could you find it in your heart to be nice to me today? I have to keep typing or the questions start again and I don't have any friends in real life who would help me right now since they're busy laughing at me and they don't text me back so I'm running out of options on how to pretend I'm too busy to talk about my current huge fuck up!

And I'm only being nice with a few suggestions because despite your assurances that I would end up in the blender, it has actually been quite a big hit.

Last week she used it to make 27 litres of soup, and she's been making all the baby food from scratch and blending it to reduce the sodium levels that he would otherwise be getting in the store bought stuff.

I'm not getting my smoothies yet...but I keep dropping the hint that this would be an excellent way to get fruits and vegetables in me. I suspect smoothies will start soon.

No, my mom texted me back. Today indeed is our anniversary so I better go for a really, really long walk now. There is absolutely no way in hell to come on top in this situation.
