That really surprises me. I used to use them about ten years ago or so... as it's the closest dealer to me. Yet, based on a recent visit for brake and tire issue... I would never go back there again. At some point not too recently they were bought out and re managed. I "think" by Sonic I'm not sure. Remodeled it but looks aside it's awful to be honest. Rude staff.
I would have guess New Century easily over them. Especially in this class. Regardless congrats SouthBay ! A name that's also used for my home area here in 90266.

You're right, not all dealers, but 3 in GTA, 1 in Ottawa and 1 in Vancouver...but yes, not all of them.

Honestly I could go on for days about their crap dealership.

For starters, their prices are absurd. I get cheaper prices on first try's at BMW of Manhattan. I've compared almost every dealership in the NYC area and they are by far always the most expensive. They wanted to charge me $1300 a month plus $6.5k down (10k miles per year lease) for an m2 that was already tested (about 55 miles) not a new build.

Their salesmen are not knowledgeable about their cars or products that they offer. I've caught them make multiple mistakes, thankfully because I do my research prior.

Finally their service is also terrible. I used to go there before they changed management because they were at one point a great service center. When I had a problem in 2014 with my M3, they wanted to charge me 6 hours of labor and when I said no, they didn't even put the pieces of my interior back together properly. Some pieces they just left on the passenger seat. BMW of Oyster Bay charged me for ONE hour of labor and the problem was fixed.

All in all, they're awful, and not only my words, everyone that has visited them has given me the same feedback. If someone tells me they got a new car from there, either they overpaid or they knew someone personally there... and still overpaid.

Ha, they once told me that there was a wheel bearing issue on my 2007 X5. They claimed that the wheel will fall off when driving due to this issue. The quoted replacement value was a bit over $2k.

That was 3 years ago (35k miles), and still no issues*.

Yup, I've been to most in Toronto and not once has anyone approached me. I don't even take my car to BMW to get serviced, I'd rather pay another shop for a oil change than get it for free from BMW.
