Wife hasn't told me yet what "we" are doing.

I plan to rise early, and wash/polish/seal my truck. If she's nice, maybe then do the wife's e90.

Somewhere along the line, rum will enter my gullet.

I have a strong hankering for some red meat sizzled over fire as well.

Large explosions have been occurring in the sky for the last 2-3 weeks. Normally we leave the area about dusk, to avoid "the purge" and return home to smoking streets with unknown amounts of un-exploded ordinances on the streets to the house.

The dog will be terrified.

Go to the parent's house for a big party with family and friends. Eat BBQ. Play cornhole, kickball, etc. and win bragging rights until next holiday. Then furwerks! Last year a mortar flipped over and whizzed by 3 peoples heads.

I totally forgot about the Xena Warrior Princess marathon

After I finish watching today's matches I should be sufficiently sauced to begin watching. I can polish the truck some other day

I did acquire some red meat and scallops tonight though

My wife and I are going to Supermarket, food trucks and the local wineries and craft brewers (every Wednesday night in the summer here), I'll then come home and toast my friends south of the boarder with some good whisk(e)y and maybe a cuban cigar.

Happy 4th of July to all and Peace!

Sucks that it's on a Wednesday this year.

But I suppose that two weekends within a 1 wk span is a positive.

Remember folks without the armed forces, you would have nothing to celebrate.
Well said, my friend.

And might I add for US citizens, please look up the Declaration of Independence and give it a read. I hope it sparks a bit of outrage in everyone about our state of government and inspires them to vote nearly all incumbents out!!
