I wouldn't buy a new one. Outrageous price for a Jeep, and I like Jeeps, my family has owned them for years with good results.

A used SRT Grand Cherokee would be a smarter buy. I'm also not 100% convinced that the axles and transfer-case are built to withstand that kind of HP.

I will say that a supercharged SRT Grand Cherokee (previous gen) was probably the most fun vehicle I have driven. The looks on people's faces when they get stomped by a grocery getting GC is pretty priceless. Most people have no idea what it is.

The jeep is basically for bragging rights only. You should look into the Macan. It is way, way higher quality and will be much nicer to drive.

My local BMW dealer was HEAVILY discounting Z4M Coupes at times as well. Doesn't mean they are bad cars. They make hefty profits early in the run but as the initial rush fades, they discount them. Hellcats were also hurt by the announcement of the Demon.

Sorry for the delay, my delivery time was pushed back yesterday from the morning to late afternoon.

So instead of a CPO '16 X5M like I had originally been considering, or a new Cherokee Trackhawk, I ended up with this brand new black beauty...

2018 X5M Black Sapphire Metallic over full Aragon Brown Merino Leather!!
It came optioned with the 21" 612M in black, but I'm not really a fan of black wheels, so I opted to make those my winter setup, and I ordered an additional set of 21" 612M in silver.

As always, I asked the dealer not to touch the paint or interior. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time last night to do my own full detail, so it was only a quick wash for now.

Sick car! There is an identical color combo X5M parked in our office lot and I've always liked it so kudos on color choice.
