I would believe it, but how is Genesis number 3? Who does that appeal to as a brand?

This survey seems to be based on car owners' enthusiasm for their cars. It would be nice if the reliability rankings were similar to these rankings.

Volvo making some really nice cars these days so I'm not surprised they are so high up. Their interiors are great, especially their seats imo. If driving experience wasn't so high on the list then i'd probably be quite happy in a Volvo for comfort.

It's a multi-faceted rating for various things....

Right. It's an attempt to measure and compare the "emotional attachment" owners have for their vehicle.

IMO the rankings make sense.

Indeed. It would be interesting and probably confirm what we already know which is that luxury car owners love their bells and whistles but predominantly lease.

A formula to improve appealing: give more curves to rear fenders (remember m6GC?). My current m5 has as much as bulging fender as the Subaru parks next to it!
Also a 400-500 hp mid engine i8tish looking car does not hurt either.

Not here to defend Genesis (don't own one, own 2 bmw's), but their G70 made C&D's top 10 list. Guess what's not on that list? 3 series.
