I'll have to post some pics later. I have a closet full of my favorite shirts. I order a shirt, if it doesn't meet current quality standards, it gets handed to the girlfriend for a sleep shirt or to her 15 year old son.

The current all time favorite tee I can't wear in public for a couple of reasons. 1.) It's too big now, 2.) I'm not actually this conceited and 3.) well.....the story behind the shirt - French Connection UK has a great marketing department. Those that live in the UK know exactly what I'm talking about. Since their store is French Connection UK FCUK gets slapped on everything. I have one of their tee's that reads "I'd FCUK me." It's not that I'm conceited, it's that it reminds me of Buffalo Bill in Silence of the Lambs. I also love my ATF t-shirt, but considering meth and prescription pill addiction in the small town I live in, I can't wear it often either.

Other favorite shirts are favorite shirts because they either look good on me or they make me look not disfigured.

When I was in high school, my pal - against my advice - started dating a psycho. As expected - when he figured it out and ended it, she went nutso. He was stupid enough to leave his favorite possession in the world at her house before he broke it off - his perfectly broken in Levis jacket. This was the 80's of course....

Anyway - it became a big fight. Back then we didn't get parents involved in that kind of crap like sissies do today. One night we pulled into the ballpark and I spotted her standing by the fence. I pulled a Uy and he said "where we going?" and I said trust me. I drove out to her house with 99% confidence it would work and went and knocked on her door. Her mom answered and it was the moment of truth. I said "Hello Mrs. XXXX.....is Laura here?" She of course said no. I said "Dang it, OK. I thought I left my jean jacket here and I can't find it anywhere....." Of course she said "Well come on in and lets look!" It was right on her chair in her room and I was like "Golly gee willikers - THANK YOU, I've been looking everywhere for this!" And out the door I went.

When we walked back into the park and she saw him wearing that jacket, it was utterly priceless.

Is that a thing here in the US? I have never seen one at anyone's home nor even a hotel. I know they're popular in Germany and the UK.

No but loved them when I was living in the UK so when we renovated our bathroom we put one in.

Haha, okay just checking. I was pretty surprised when you said that. To be honest, I'd never seen one before until I traveled to Germany for the first time. Thought it was a pretty cool idea though. It looked more like an old radiator style heater as opposed to the shiny chrome one like Rick has got.
