Now my dumbass room left the front door unlatched and did not lock the door so when he came home the cats were outside and my house was wide fucking open. DUMB ASS. His move out date can't come soon enough.

This time he didn't go far. He's back again was outside for about two hours. Went out in the woods with a flashlight and spotted him with his eyes. Back in the house and chastised the housemate.
