Current generation LG & Sony OLED’s look amazing. Finally replaced the last of our 12 year old Plasmas with a Sony 83” OLED and it looks spectacular. Should have custom millwork bezel to trim things out soon.

I'd be surprised if they were true OLED sets because they should cost considerably more than that, even if it's manufactured by a lower tier brand as an OEM arrangement. However, being Amazon you can never be too sure because it wouldn't be the first time Bezos disrupts the marketplace.

Oooooooooooo much bloatware on it that it puts getting a PC from Best Buy in 1999 to shame. Your machine is hostage with non manufacturers junk apps that you don't want and have to pay to remove.
I mean, you can't even get through setup without opting to enable/disable stuff for Amazon shopping.
I understand it though, it's Amazon's thing and they do provide a pleasant and convenient shopping experience- my opinion only..you guys might think it sucks, I don't know..ups and downs for all things.

It's just that, like with google and others… that convenience starts dipping into security and privacy…. Bad for the unknown and vulnerable. Some people don't mind, some are oblivious like in 2002 and not passwording their AP, some just stay away because…No matter how many checkboxes you turn off….is it really off?

I stiiiiil have a Kyocera rugged flip phone that is Verizon 4g. It gets email, web, just no smart apps.

Privacy and security is one of the key reasons why we use https://www.josh.ai for voice control automation. That and it works like nothing else.
Also just released a new voice processing component that moves all the recognition to on premise. The cloud is only used for updates.
