Huh. I didn't think to search for it across the whole PDF. It's peppered throughout on quite a few models, including the M8. Was this ever really about "chip shortages?"
I don't know. I only looked at the M550 because I was trying to buy one before I got my M5 on Wednesday. So I looked the through the whole PDF. My car has it and I know from other forums everyone recommends getting the B&W

So standard metallic colors are now no charge on M3/M4?

was $550, BMW increasing it to $650
BUT price guide shows "x" for them on the M3/M4

If true I guess the $3700 increase is really just $3050 for those getting standard metallic colors.

So no Driver Assistance Professional package on non M340i 3 series period? What a bummer. One of the main reasons I was holding out on purchasing a '22 model. Quite insane that it's not even being offered as an option anymore on a near $60K car when a Honda Civic half of the price has ACC as standard.

M3/M4 no more HUD? Or is that "live cockpit pro"?

I am good with sensa-tec dash which saves me around $2300 and almost offsets the increase, but I wonder if its also on the upper door panels (where extended leather would be), thats a big thing (common touch point).
X3MC its sensa-tec (also was standard).

Sadly the carbon roof option still isn't an option for M340i in the US. Not sure about the wheel options but my loaded M340i would price out to $67,920.

Included in live cockpit pro for the M3. Separate on the M4 since it's still on iD7.

Do they really see the B&W as a true premium sound system? It's not. It's just the HK sucks that bad. Maybe the 23's will be different, but.. oh who am I kidding?
I can attest to HK being subpar…until the iX arrived. Leaps and bounds better than any HK I've heard before. Most likely an anomaly though.

Cheaper yes and improvement over the HK, but it's still definitely no B&W.

Weirdly you can get Driver Assistance Professional on an X1 but not a 330i. :

Please what’s the difference between ZHO (shadowline package) and the 7M9 extended shadowline trim for the M340i. Why is one 850$? Is that a price increase from the 400 for the MY2022?

No adaptive cruise for the 440i convertible? I guess I won't be proceeding with my order unless it is offered again like in the previous model year. 72k car and no adaptive cruise.

I thought bmw said the 50 anniversary m emblem would be standard for the m340i. Why does it cost 200? And looks like it’s free for the regular 3 series

I saw that. $200 for that is insane. Also especially when they said it would be free. You can buy painted overpriced ones from iND for less than that.

I almost can't believe it, but these documents show we need to buy an X3M to get Active Cruise Control in a 2023 X3. Nuts!

Looks like it's not available on the regular 3 series. It's free on the "real" M models, but the M Perf models have to pay extra.

Just retrofit it

About $4500 for B&W kit plus wiring harness.

Sure, it's a great idea to buy a new $130k BMW just to retrofit the entire sound system and void the warranty.

That's insane. I was hoping this option would find itself back on the baseline X3, but looks like I will need to look at options beyond BMW at this point.
