It just means the guy earned his stripes at Polestar. I’m sure recent criticism will be absorbed.

The idea is if that guy thought polestar looks good in that form I have my doubts. For me It matters what they done not what they say they will

Take it with a grain of salt. A change would show it's effects in a couple of years. We don't know the design direction they'll take and hoping it won't look like Polestar.

Mini seems like it doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up. Maybe an Oxymoron? Jumbo Mini.

I'll take Polestar design language over whatever the f the XM is.
That being said and like others have already said, the guy designed Polestar as a derivative of existing Volvo design language, which shows he can color within the lines when asked. That doesn't mean he'll bring Volvo design language with him, I don't know how you would reach that conclusion. |

The Neue Klasse Concepts don’t inspire me so far. Same with that Wedge Shaped BMW supposed to come out. I’m a little afraid for the future. At least the G60/G90 will be in production for about the next 6-7 years so I’m happy for the meantime.

This made my day. Crossing my fingers that we see a different design language that incorporates the beauty of the past with a vision for their feature. 🙏

Polestar look pretty accomplished as design, with a recognizable language that works well for a tech product. I think he may do good things.
Damagoj goes to wreak chaos in Rolls Royce, a brand I confidently can say Ill never have interest in in any way, so best of luck!

Too many ugly cars and models on their dealership lots!
There should be sedans ONLY for 3,5,7 and coupes/convertibles ONLY (that too if absolutely needed) for 2,4,6. SUVs: X3, X5 and X7. No EVs, not until they have a good selling record for 10 years from other manufacturers plus 350+ miles range. But I guess its too late for them to play smart like Toyota did.

Have they acknowledged a problem or is this a way of doubling down? I'm not familiar with any of these people so just saying...I hope it's a good move.

There is a great book titled "The Fish Rots From The Head: The Crisis in our Boardrooms: ... " https://www.amazon.com/Fish-Rots-Hea.../dp/B00KLU94H4 The mild concern: the leadership hasn't changed. Adrian van Hooydonk is still in charge as the current head of design. On a bright side, the decision to send Domagoj Dukec to Rolls Royce couldn't be executed any better. There is only so much one can do with Rolls Royce silhouette without venturing into Honda territory. |
