No degree, just been going off skill so far, but Design Engineering. I plan on taking up school though to further myself and apply it to more of what I want to get into.

MS Chemical/Petroleum Engineering

Advice for the 2nd yr. Mechanical Engineer:

Hang in there, you get some really cool stuff in mechanical engineering coming up, (at least that was how it was in my college) I took a few classes and really like the class using Solid Works and metal shop. Your Jr. year is when you get into the real core of your program, and there is also the senior design project...our Mechanical Engineering program had built and raced a mini baja 100 car...how cool is that?

Wheew, a lot of people with really good qualifications...BS in Geology here, i really wonder why there are still a lot of stupid questions coming up on posts. Hopefully not one of yours... por ejemplo..shall i buy a 35 or 28, any idea how much this and that..yatty yah..rant rant...yes thats me!. God save america..dont they teach in college the scientific method? or basic research? or googling! One thing that i notice is that a lot in here are taking the easy way out by posting even the most stupid questions....even a fifth grader can answer and then they ask any advice? opinions? Even though they have made up their minds. So i make fun of them. No offense meant..just an observation.

To give credit though, a lot of people also ask legit questions i.e. questions on the engine, acceleration and torque, how to modify this and that. How to find a part, how to make or acquire but hehhh.. i am just being antsy, i got scolded once and was told to shut up and walk away if i dont like it. I hope the day will not come.
