Where, exactly, are you looking for Cayman reviews? The 2009 has been reviewed in every major magazine in the US and Europe, and onnumerous web sites as well. They aren't as detailed as the Cayman S reviews, but it's gotten its share of ink.
Could you provide some links? I can't find 1 single video review either. Its always hard to find Porsche videos or reviews in my opinion.

These "what should I buy" threads are always a joke.. Who cares what a bunch of strangers think?

LOL Besides.. This isn't even a Porsche forum
I hate threads that say, what car should I get as well.

Im just asking what everyone thinks of them in general, Im not going to buy a car based off what others say. Im just wondering if any of you have any more knowledge then I do on them, or maybe even drove one. Please stop commenting dumbass replies If you truly only have negative remarks to make.

Do yourself a favor and save your money. You're 20 years old and have a good amount of money saved obviously. Keep on saving and go out and buy a house in a couple years. Then you'll have a garage to put your car into.

Hit up the 2010 Cayman S, led tails and more power for the base car. It's a VERY good car. Not so fast on the straight, but handles way better than many cars stock.

You're thinking 2009 model year. that's when these upgrades were implemented.

Cayman are for posers. As simple as that, even though I know they are good.

basically every review I've ever read, and owner posts puts them as one of the best drivers cars ever, that means overall package, feel, and performance

Like I said, one of the best car out there. But I would never buy one. A porsche is a 911, nothing else. Any porsche fanatic will be on my side. At least, a Cayman is not as poser as a fricking Boxster... those are the worst.

According to your logic the 3-series is a "poser car" to then, because its not the top of the line BMW. The Cayman is an amazing car, even though its not top of the line doesn't mean its a poser car.

It as NOTHING to do with it. You clearly do not got the point here. Porsche is a different story than BMW. For example, if Ferrari would make a 60k car, the guy who would buy one, would be a guy who can't afford a real one and buy that model just so he has a "ferrari". Why would a 3 be a poser car. There is posers for every type of car, but whatever. I won't argue with you, this type of argument can go forever.

Any porsche fanatic that says the cayman (or boxster for that matter) isn't a true porsche, is a brand fanatic only, not a driving fanatic. Which in all actuality, makes them a poseur. But you go on believing what you want to believe because as you said, you'd be able to make baseless arguments forever.

+1

the cayman has a much better platform to build off of with the engine located where it is, if they keep adding more power there will be no reason to look at 911's anymore

Given a choice I would rather have the cayman S than a 911 carrera S, that's because I'm a car guy and I appreciate the cayman's design

Anyone that can afford a new Cayman S can afford an off-lease 997 - that's what people did before the car existed, after all. People buy the Cayman because it's the best driving platform Porsche makes; any driving enthusiast, rather than 911 fanboy, knows that.

What the hell is a poser car? The Cayman is one of the best all around balanced cars on the planet.

The Cayman is what the 911 was.

Yeah but I'd rather move out then owning a nice car a park it in my parents driveway. Been there done that. I used to have the coolest cars/bike on the street and realized that it didn't make any sense. So I put all that on ice and bought my own place. I agree with Heinzftw. If you get nice cars at a young age well they will become disposable. Well it happened to me....new cars are disposable and I'm willing to spend more money on vintage cars. I lost so much money on new cars

Have you owned a mac? Can you speak from experience?

Apple never had a 'home grown' cpu. They used motorola up until the switch to intel. The switch was for greater compatibility, economics, and energy reduction.

I guess that depends on the definition of not "too fast". They are faster than the 335, that's for sure.

Motor trend got 0-60 of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 171 mph. Seems fairly fast to me.
