I'm also guessing Chargers vs Cowboys...

Why not just tell it to me straight? And for the record I don't remember whining about Chargers fans talking smack. I said that I'm not sure if they are truly fans or just bandwagoners that just came out of the woodwork just cus the Chargers are in the playoffs.

Fans or bandwagoners, it doesn't matter. Some people just like to root for the underdogs. That's why there will be a lot of Cardinal "fans" again.

Nothing against you personally, I just dislike bandwagoners (not necessarily include those that just root for the underdogs). I don't care when Chargers fans talk smack because that's what fans do. I do, however, have problems with those that suddenly become "fans" of the opposing team just because their true team didn't make it to the playoffs. That's like me all of a sudden become a "fan" of the Cowboys, Vikings, Saints, etc. |

I am sure we will see a lot of people jumping off the band wagon when Peyton retires. |

You obviously havent been to NOLA. Fans have been ecstatic over the Saints since BEFORE the boys won against the Atlanta Falcons in our very first game, since Hurricane Katrina, in 2006. Not only was it a home game but it meant so much to the city to see the boys finally shine and get the long deserved recognition. Even though they didnt make it to the Superbowl that year thanks to the Chicago Bears we all still rooted and always will root for the boys in black and gold. I do not appreciate being called a bandwagon fan and Im sure all the Saints fans on this forum (which 90% are from Louisiana if you look at their location) would agree.

I've been a "fan" of the Vikings since they were the Purple People Eaters, maybe a little before. I honestly couldn't tell you WHY. And "fan" just means if they play, I wanna watch and hope they don't screw up. I know they have Peterson, Favre (how could you not with all the media coverage) but I like #69 on defense since he plays so hard every down.
Now, I would LOVe to see them break out of what they always do about this time of year, and actually beat Dallas, just depends on which purple team shows up . . . |
