Make sure you have a lot of extra-curricular activities w/ that GPA... I don't know how many UC schools would actually accept that GPA (UC GPA).

As for the shirt... USC had its worse season in a while w/ Carroll; it'll be interesting to see how Lane Kiffen runs things.

I got into UCLA from out of state (I'm from CT) with a 3.6 GPA. I spent two years working with my father, and that helped big time in my application.

You still take the bus? Because your sense of direction is pretty bad. If you're taking the 10 West from UCLA, good luck finding Vermont. Plus, the only thing you will smell is the ocean, if the bus takes you that far.

well it depends what your extra curricular's are... i got into princeton with a 3.1 unweighted gpa... but i got recruited to run track here and i went to a really prestigious boarding school that 25 of the kids in my class got into princeton...

I doubt it, my fiances brother just applied to UCLA with a 3.7 GPA and some decent extra curriculars. He got denied but I would imagine its cause he was out of state. To get in to UCLA out of state you need to stand out alittle more than that.

Sorry bro but no. First of all, a 3.0 is average. Second, you're out of state, so that's another thing against you. The acceptance rate is already really low as it is. My cousin had a 4.4 GPA and a ton of extracurricular and she didn't get in.

Definitely because you ran track. I got into Carnegie Mellon, Johns Hopkins and University of Chicago with a 3.6 and not a very good SAT score. And i didnt take any AP or honors classes in high school and i just went to a public school lol.. Football helped me a lot.

lol i'm not denying that a major reason that i got in was because i run track, but i'm saying that anything is possible depending on your extracurriculars..

Lowest they'll take is around 3.5-3.7 gpa and a few extra curricular activities. But nothing is impossible, if you really want something in life just go for it. There is nothing called failure. Just my 2 cents.
