OP I was joking btw. Don't go to liberty city or miami gardens. I went with a couple of friends to Miami last year and took my 5 series and we ended up in miami gardens. Took a few more wrong turns then ended up in Opa Locka I believe we were on 27th ave. I still remember that night CLEARLY.

Not a pleasant experience.

OP.. I hope you understand, every day it is going to be 90+. The humidity is going to be 75%+. It IS going to T-Storm EVERYDAY between 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.

Definitely not a place to go if you're on a budget. You might be able to find something somewhat reasonable a couple blocks from the beach on Collins or Washington Ave.

love miami, but both times i went with my girl to. for your first time stay on ocean drive or collins ave between 1-15th street. i stayed at the chesterfield on collins and shelborne much further north, both for WMC.
ocean drive, collins and washington ave will have everything you need. tripadvisor is great place with real people reviews. dont expect top quality rooms staying this south, the rooms are small and some are old. if you stay further north away from ocean the hotels are nicer but not that true miami beach feeling IMO.

have fun, make sure your girl doesn't loose her ID and fuck up ur trip..

You make south Florida sound so bad. It's really not that bad, some of these guys can't take the heat, that's all.
I guess the same can be said about us down here when its sub 60 degrees during the winter. Now that is horrible weather.

Rather have sub 60 and dry weather than over 90 and humid every single day. In fact, it's been sub 60 for the past couple weeks here and the weather is actually pretty comfortable.
