So far I am putting together little kits for the groomsmen which include: snap on multi-tool, organic super hot sauce, personalized cufflinks, a cigar.... was going to get a lighter and maybe a magazine subscription. For the best man was going to add one more cool thing for $100... so that might give you an idea of where I'm coming from.

I helped my buddy put together that sort of stuff for his wedding last month. It turns out the chick was a whore, so the wedding didn't go down. But, one of the things he got them was those really nice chip sets for playing cards. Cool gift idea if you have any players.

On that note, I'd just offer the groomsmen $500 to spill the beans on the bride. Or, use it to polygraph her. Ask her straight up how infidelitous she's been, save money on wedding and buy your bros $1000 gifts! happy day!

You could probably get an 1940's SKS Rifle for about $100 if you shopped around. Those are pretty cool. They perform and are a piece of history.

A nice keg of beer provides a lot of fun.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I'm having the same dilemma with groomsmen's gifts. I was thinking about assembling a nice Weber BBQ tool set:
