I can't believe there's this huge following in D3. The beta was absolute rubbish. The graphics are smudgy / foggy. Three years for this PoS? Fuck that.

I picked up it last week. Played 1 alot as a kid, didnt play 2 as much. I really did not think I would enjoy 3 as much but I actually like it.

Yah I picked it up on friday morning and finished the normal act that night. It actually been like 13 years in the waiting.

I found myself wondering why it took so long for them to make something like this but at the same time, it is damn fun.

I would be playing it like 24/7 if I did not have finals at the moment.

Im playing monk and its great to solo man the game with, also great support when you get in a party situation.

lvld to 46 yesterday, I saw this tip on reddit yesterday.

Go to the auction house and filter your search for reduced level requirement. loook around and buy a weapon that is godly lol.

I went from a 60 dmg wep to a 111 wep, made my life 100x easier.

While still an enjoyable game that will make Blizzard a TON of money, i'm dissipointed.

A.. Graphics have a WOW cartoonish aspect to them vs. D2's dark, gritty realism.
B. Overall D2 was dark, brooding and violent. D3 more feels less so overall.
C. they have simplified the character options WAY too much my for my tastes. You no longer get to choose stats as you please and the skill trees are gone replaced with limited options.

The influence of WOW is all over this title. Where D1 or D2 felt rated R, this feels more PG13. Even some of the voice acting sounds abit childish.

Overall c+

Lvl 50 barbarian... It feels surprisingly like d2 and the auction house is amazing.

Not a big fan of the auction house...some of the prices for fairly mundane items are ridiculously priced. I'm hoping prices will normalize once the game gets more established.
