I'm crying. Blues were the better team with the better goaltender. Stars have to address and come back stronger next year. Seguin would have helped.

Here we go boys! As far as this thread goes, I'm the last one standing. Think if the Sharks play their best and the Preds play their best Sharks will prevail...but if the Sharks play at 95% then they will be packing--it's that close. And, hopefully the refs don't "miss" anything..not an excuse as great teams overcome, but we have gotten a couple bad breaks like that slash last game with blood that never got called...we won't bring up the Pavelski goal in OT.

I always had respect for guys like Rod Langway, Al Iafrate, Calle Johansson, Dino Ciccarelli, you know - basically all guys not named Dale Hunter. Some high class tough guys for sure (Hunter was low class).

My favorite part of the Caps teams is when the Pens took their rejects and turned them into great players. Larry Murphy, Kevin Hatcher, Sergie Gonchar were all some. I would have bet money that we were going to pick up Mike Green once he started getting booed out of there...and I would have loved to have had him here.

I definitely lost respect for Dale Hunter for blasting Pierre Turgeon after the Capitals got.....wait for it......eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Yeah a definite chance if the Sharks play the way they can. While Nashville played their hearts out and relied on Rinne and Weber, the Blues are more formidable with Elliott having the best save % in the regular season and that monster know as Backes. With Berglund, Steen and Pietranagelo the Sharks will have their hands full.

The consensus on NHL.com overwhelmingly has the Blues to win. At the start of the playoffs the teams I think would be the toughest for the Sharks were the Kings, Blues and Hawks. Despite the quick close of the Kings every one of those games was very close and came down to the last minute, whereas in the Predator series a couple games the Sharks were flat and the Preds were not there for game 7.

Yeah I know the feeling very well...Every time the Sharks go out I feel like that's the end of Hockey season and I'll have to wait til next year. Hockey is my favorite sport and the only one I am real passionate about. I'm still hoping for a Sharks/Penguins final since there is another guy here to go back and forth with.
