I do not agree. But after thinking about it for a moment, I can see why:

The guy has really carried this lackluster team for all these years. We'd probably have worse than 8-8 records without him. His stats do speak volumes! He's a class act. Unlike alot of these premadonna, asshole QB types, he's actually funny and humble. I'd like to see him at least reach the Super Bowl if not win.

Yes! The Defense is surprisingly great. Not good, great! I sure as heck didn't think we'd be a Top 10 Defense but we are. And that play is very visible. If Dallas could somehow acquire a stud Pass rusher and solid Linebacker this season, they easily are favorites to reach and win the Super Bowl. Because the offense is unstoppable.

I believe they will give Romo a shot. Like you said, Romo has carried this team on his back and has absorbed all of the criticism throughout the years; he deserves a shot. Here's how..

Play Dak against Philly. We don't need Romo knocking off the rust from last year's Thanksgiving game against a division rival who up until week#4 looked very promising.

THEN!! Play Romo against Cleveland and show us if he can still do what he use to. Lets not forget that Romo is a stat monster when he plays; just not enough wins.

If he does well, give him a shot at the Steelers and let the real controversy begin. If not, sorry, karma sucks. Let's not forget Romo got his shot because Bleudsoe got hurt.
