Held an FN 5.7 today... i'll say I didn't particularly like it... the size of the gun was a bit too large and the polymer frame felt too light. Just my honest opinion.

I know people love them but they're not my cup of tea.

Ditto......but at some point it would be nice if she could at least cover her personal expenses.......and not spend more than she has each month.......

Awesome. What position? Is it a government? Do you carry spare mag(s)?

Any reliability issues? My .45 locks the slide back on a mag with rounds still in it. The 9mm competition won't seat a magazine unless I push the mag release button down during insertion.

I'm wondering if I should have tried a sa 1911 first. I really wanted the pony roll marks though.

Have had no issues to date. About 2k rounds in. It is a govt and use milt sparks vm2 at 330-4 and do carry extra mag yes. Wilson combat mag well and extended mag and magpul od grips. It's a good one. Also have a pre b cz75 surplus and browning mk2 I use as carry as well.

Good taste in pistols sir. I feel like a peasant carrying glock/HK. Lol.

I almost bought a cz 75 single action. I regret not buying it because it is pretty rare.

Which platform do you like best for plinking 9mm?

My cz 75 is best of the 9mm variety it just fits me and works well. Feels most natural. Have never shot a round in da mode as always have a round chambered and hammer back. Actually like he trigger wasn't sure at first about supposed long pull with sa/da gun.

Is your nighthawk that much better of a shooter compared to the sig? There are so many different brands.

I'd love a commander 9mm. I've been looking at sti, sa emp4, colt lw commander, Dan Wesson guardian, and on the high end a semi custom like WC or nighthawk. I can't really find many rental 1911s except for an Ed brown.

I know I should have left the 1911s alone. They are so damn pricey!

On your other point, at least you don't live or have to drive through DC. Those idiots actually have a law which says you have to "register" your ammo. I have a friend that got wrapped up in this stupid law. And if you're convicted under this stupid law, it's a felony.
Awesome!!! I cant wait to take mine. Just ordered an FNX-45 Tactical so just waiting to receive it and take both

Yes. Is it worth $2k more? That depends on your willingness to spend money. In terms of fit and finish, it's not at all hype. It's very accurate, has functioned flawlessly and feels like fine jewelry when handling it.

FNX45 tactical is probably my favorite pistol at this point in time.
