I try to give people the benefit of the doubt when it comes to M badges. I myself have M3 mirrors, wheels and side skirts but no M badging on my 328.

This guy had zero mods other than the M frame, "small" M logo and even a foot long vinyl M color stripe on the front bumper. I felt so guilty just looking at it. I don't know what the owner is thinking or what they do when any other BMW rolls up.

Saw some local fool a week ago with a straight up M3 badge on an E90 328i - completely replaced the 328i badge with it..

That is actually my car and although it could be argued that I have poor taste and too much money in this case it is an example of someone who has Photoshop and too much time in his hands,

The extra tail pipes are Photoshopped. The "Turbo" badge was purchased on eBay. I put magnetic backing on the badge to place it on the car for the picture. It is not very secure and barely stayed in place without falling off long enough to take the picture.
