I did that with the baseball cards on my bicycle spokes. I also had a hell of a collection back in the early 70s. My mother threw them out because she didn't think a girl should have a baseball card collection. I wonder what they would be worth now

Remember Rollie Fingers handlebar mustache? Hold shit I'm old....

Sucked?!?!?!

They were AWESOME!

Not the first version, but the later ones (Mk II?) with the handbrake.

Where do you think Dukes of Hazzard got their driving tips?

Was too big (old) for them, but watched my younger cousins having a blast on them.

Another memory, perhaps because of the Vietnam conflict; playing war. And you always had the one guy that was "Superman" claiming, "you missed."

Anyone have one of these? True story; when I was in first grade this kid, I knew, came to school wearing sunglasses. So obviously, I asked him what was up with the sunglasses, and he answered that he had a small mishap in that he wanted to look in the tank, of his go-kart, to see if it still had gasoline; except he used a match. Matthew wasn't the smartest.

Heck, when I was a kid, we use to buy 30-06, 12 ga shells and 22 cal bullets at the local mom & pop grocery store while mom bought the food.

You're even older if you actually have used that classic "indian head" test pattern card to calibrate your B&W TV camera! Oh, and don't forget to white-balance it every time you turn it on or change the scene lighting.....

Bazinga!

A new member from TN! I'm about an hour from you.

I am a direct result of the change in business over the years. Growing up, my father worked for the same company from the time he was 18 until the company packed up and moved to Mexico. The next position he took, he stayed with until he passed. Many of other family members and friends/acquaintances were the same way. Almost every company that I have worked for, I stayed with until they closed the doors. Extremely frustrating to be a good employee and being forced change careers, as many times as I have, in order to stay employed. In the past, considering whether or not the company you are applying with, will remain in business for as long as you want to be employed wasn't a concern like it is today. Seems everything is disposable nowadays.

Welcome to the forums!
Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to learning about my new toy. Had a great experience with an SLK Roadster convertible but needed a back seat. I'm really surprised there are so few hard top convertible choices out there. Thus here I am with an M4. First time I've ever had a car with Launch Control. 😊
